The SkillsFuture Career Advisors Programme taps on the knowledge and expertise of industry veterans to help individuals make informed career decisions. It is an initiative under Adapt and Grow, in partnership with key intermediaries from the industry, such as Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) and professional bodies.

How Will I Benefit?
You can benefit from the career advisory services from the SkillsFuture Career Advisors who are industry veterans with rich work experience. Through the programme, they will share their experiences and insights on the skills and personal attributes required to succeed in the sector, for you to make informed career decisions.
How does it work?
Under the programme, Workforce Singapore will work with key intermediaries from the industry, such as Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) and professional bodies to build a pool of SkillsFuture Career Advisors.
These career advisors will provide industry career advisory services and help job seekers expand their understanding of the skills and jobs in demand in specific sectors.
How do I apply?
The SkillsFuture Career Advisors Programme has been rolled out for the following sectors.
Infocomm Technology Sector
This sectoral initiative is called the SCS Career Compass and is in partnership with the Singapore Computer Society (SCS). Interested parties can apply directly through the SCS Career Compass website here.
Early Childhood Care and Education Sector
The SkillsFuture Career Advisors Programme for the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) sector is an initiative in partnership with the Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore) (AECES). Job seekers who are interested to find out more about the career advisory sessions for ECCE sector can refer to the AECES website here.
The SkillsFuture Career Advisors Programme for the Manufacturing sector is an initiative in partnership with NTUC’s e2i (Employability and Employment Institute). PMETs and mid-career switchers who are currently in or planning to join the industry can find out more about the events by contacting WSG or e2i.
The programme will be rolled out progressively for other sectors.
