What Is it?


SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016. Your credit will not expire and the government will provide periodic top-ups, so you may accumulate your credit.


Who is it for?

SkillsFuture Credit is for all Singaporeans aged 25 and above.

What can I use it for?

SkillsFuture Credit can be used on top of existing government course subsidies to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses.

Courses subsidised or approved by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) including online courses.

Selected courses offered by Ministry of Education (MOE)-funded institutions*.

Courses supported by public agencies.

SkillsFuture@PA courses offered by the People’s Association, courses offered by the Infocommunications Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA)’s Silver Infocomm Junctions and selected courses under National Silver Academy.

*Institute of Technical Education, polytechnics, autonomous universities, Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

I am a Training Provider. I would like my courses to be eligible under SkillsFuture Credit.

How do I use it?

Take ownership of your self-development and career progression by planning your learning journey before using your SkillsFuture Credit.

You can use your credit to pay for or offset skills related course fees by applying for claim(s) starting January 2016. All Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above will be able to access their SkillsFuture Credit account and submit a claim via once they receive their account activation letter.
