What Is it?

This programme was introduced to provide mid-career individuals with traineeships and training opportunities at companies and public sector agencies. You may choose either an attachment or training. 

  • Company Attachments - Provide opportunities for mid-career individuals to take on a company attachment with host organisations and gain meaningful industry-relevant experience to boost employability, while receiving a training allowance of up to $3,000 For more information, please click the respective links for trainees and host organisations.
  • Company Training – Attend full-time training ranging from six to 12 months, in sectors that can provide job opportunities as the economy recovers, such as ICT and manufacturing. Delivered by market leaders and reputable companies, course fees are highly subsidised and trainees can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset the nett course fees. Trainees will receive a monthly training allowance of $1,500* for the duration of their training, and career advisory and employment assistance as they search for relevant jobs that utilise their newly acquired skills.
