WHAT IS IT?

The Productivity Solutions Grant (SkillsFuture Training Subsidy) [PSG (SFTS)] is part of the enhanced Productivity Solutions Grant1. Companies can tap on PSG (SFTS) to upskill your employees for productivity improvement and business transformation. The PSG (SFTS) covers 70% of out-of-pocket training expenses incurred by companies, and is capped at $10,000 per company. It is provided on top of existing government course fee subsidies, and in addition to the sector-specific grant cap for the PSG pre-scoped productivity solutions.
1The PSG was launched in April 2018 by the Ministry of Trade and Industry to support companies to adopt pre-scoped, off-the-shelf productivity solutions and technologies to enhance their business processes. Eligible companies receive 70% funding support to adopt IT solutions and equipment under the PSG.
HOW CAN I BENEFIT FROM IT?Companies can use the PSG (SFTS) to train and build a pool of skilled employees in areas that will help enhance business competitiveness. The relevant skills areas are outlined in Skills Frameworks, which have been developed for various sectors.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR IT?The PSG (SFTS) is open to all companies registered in Singapore that have at least one approved PSG project, including projects approved prior to the launch of the PSG (SFTS).
HOW DO I APPLY?Companies can apply for the PSG (SFTS) from 1 July 2019 to 31 March 2023 via the Business Grants Portal (BGP). Companies may apply for multiple PSG projects, but will only be given one PSG (SFTS) account, from which claims of up to $10,000 can be made over the programme period.
To apply for the PSG (SFTS), you must first qualify for the PSG and submit a training plan. The training plan will require you to select the Skills Framework(s) that is relevant to your business and training needs, indicate an estimated number of employees that you intend to send for training, and the time period. Companies can concurrently apply for the PSG (SFTS) when applying for the PSG, or you may also choose to apply later, after acceptance of the Letter of Offer for your PSG application.
